Flightseeing Tour Options & Information

We invite you to join us on a spectacular flightseeing tour of majestic Denali, "The Great One", and the Alaska Range. Your tour begins when you check into our office at the Talkeetna airport. Our friendly staff will help prepare you for your flight and introduce you to your pilot who will escort you to the aircraft, provide a safety briefing, and get you settled. Every guest gets a window seat which provides excellent views and plenty of opportunities for photos and video taping. You will also be provided with an intercom headset so you can enjoy both music and pilot narration as you soar over the rugged peaks of the Alaska Range.

Learn the history and geology of the area while you take in a bird's eye view of this beautiful wilderness. Make certain to bring lots of film, your sunglasses and a light jacket.

Our flightseeing tours from Talkeetna include:

• McKinley Experience: The foundation for all of our flights, see the Sheldon Amphitheater, the Great Gorge, and the Ruth Glacier.
• McKinley Flyer: Extend your tour to see the climbers' Basecamp, the south side of Denali, Mt. Foraker, and Mt. Hunter.
• Denali Grand Tour: Fly completely around Denali for a spectacular flightseeing tour of both the north and south sides of the mountain.
• McKinley Climber / Summit Tour: Your multi-engine aircraft will climb to nearly 20,000 feet for a dramatic view of Denali, the Alaska Range, and Denali National Park.

• Without a Glacier Landing: 8:30, 10:30, 12:30, 2:30, 4:30, 6:30
• With Glacier Landing added to tour: 9:00, 11:00, 1:00, 3:00, 5:00, 7:00

What To Bring

Temperatures vary during the summer months. Layer your clothing so you can add or take off layers. Bring lots of film for your camera and make sure your video equipment is charged to ensure you get all those wonderful pictures to remember your trip. We also suggest that you bring sunglasses and a light jacket. We'll provide your over-boots for walking on the glacier!

About Our Rates

These rates are guaranteed from May 1 through September 15. For smaller parties outside of these dates, please call for our charter rates.

Deposits

Deposits for all trips are 100% refundable if cancellation is due to weather. If cancellation is received more than 48 hours prior to departure, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellations within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of deposit.
